We've been breeding Brafords since 1982 and are passionate about producing efficient and easy-care cattle that are not only profitable but tread lightly in the environment.

Brafords have been at the heart of our breeding program for over 30 years with our genetics being used in more than 15 countries on 4 continents across a whole range of production systems and climates.  

You'll find Chadwick Downs in the rugged Warrumbungle mountains in NW NSW. 

The country provides a a stunning backdrop of tough terrain and harsh climate. Our Brafords have been bred under real-world conditions, selected for fertility, adaptability & efficiency off grass and our cows are expected to perform without the support of winter crops or supplements. In turn, this means our bulls and the progeny they produce, will perform exceptionally well under your conditions.

We are focused on producing the most efficient & productive livestock, raised on grass & herbage and selected for fertility and performance under natural conditions. Genetic testing and performance selection provides essential feedback on our selection process.
